As Holy Trinity is a Church of England School, we are also subject to a SIAMS Inspection. SIAMS stands for Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools, and is a process that all Church of England schools go through, on a 5 year cycle. This is a rigorous process with many similarities to an Ofsted inspection, although with a tighter focus.
From September 2023 a new inspection framework was introduced, and we are delighted to share that the inspection findings indicated that Holy Trinity CofE Academy is living up to its foundation as a Church school. Through our Christian Vision we enable children and adults to flourish.
During their visit, the inspector met with pupils, leaders, staff, governors, trustees and parents, and in the report notes that "Lives are changed through bold decisions made by leaders, including governors. These are directly linked to the distinctive Christian vision. It drives all that the school does. It is so embedded that its impact is transformative on members of the school community."
The school is a haven of valued support for pupils and families, providing a sense of security and structure.
