Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility

At Holy Trinity C of E Academy, we are committed to the safety and wellbeing of the children in our care.

Safeguarding your child involves many aspects of school life and staff work together as a team to ensure that your children are safe and happy. This commitment includes staff, governors, volunteers and contractors working on the school site.

What to do if you’re worried about a child during the school holidays:

Holy Trinity Primary Academy; Rothwell has received the Anchored Schools prestigious 'gold' standard award for safeguarding.

The Gold Award is presented to settings that demonstrateexceptional practice, achieving a score of 90% or above during an Extensive Review of their Safeguarding practice. We are proud to have been recognised atthis level.

Anchored Awards were created to champion educational settings thatnot only prioritise these vital aspects of education but also evidenceoutstanding achievement in them.

Anchored schools commented that, ‘Leaders at the academywork extremely hard to ensure that best practice runs throughout all aspects of safeguarding. There are sound day-to-day protocols and procedures in place andleaders are reflective in nature. There is sound support at Trust level, and the school has an experienced governor in place.’ They also praised the safeguarding team forthe excellent relationships they have built with the local authority, and howthey engage with the wider local community.
